A DAILY BLESSING

Blessed is the man who trusts in Him…. Psalms 84:12

In November, 2003, God brought us to Suffolk. We have been so blessed to be a part of this church family.  It has been an amazing journey as He has led us into a deeper relationship with Himself. It is easy to pastor people with a caring and giving heart. It is exciting to see what new ventures that God opens for us to serve him. Thanks to everyone who has dared to step out of their comfort zone to serve our Great God. From a youth ministry that was reaching over 60 low income and unwanted children and youth to a monthly luncheon for Seniors, the Suffolk congregation has stepped up to fill the needs of so many others. Covid has taken it’s toll on both of these ministries, yet we have adjusted to “social distancing”, parking lot church, and online services. Currently our Facebook LIVE Streaming on Sunday morning is reaching as many as 200 people in a week. It is a difficult decision to leave such a loving church, but I am as sure of God’s answer as I have ever been. It is time for new leadership at Radiant Life of Suffolk. And God has something new for me to venture into as well.

I believe that the word God gave us from Isaiah 60 that we are to be a Radiant life that will draw men and women from all around us to His Glory and Presence.

This will not be an end, but a fresh new beginning for the future of this body of believers.

This will be my final “Daily Blessing” post from Radiant Life Ministries.  Not sure what His next step for me will be, but I am blindly following wherever He leads me.

Thank you for your faithfulness, your comments and notes throughout these years of publishing. I pray God’s Riches Blessings upon you and yours in the days, months and years ahead.

Yesterday, my daughter told me that she just found a list of 200 people who are praying for me and my future. That humbles me beyond description. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.

GOD BLESS YOU EVERYONE!

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine… Prov. 17:22

Editor Note: This is NOT true of me.

You Might be a Preacher if….

* You’ve ever dreamed you were preaching only to awaken and discover you were

* You’ve ever wondered why people couldn’t die at more appropriate times

* You’re leading the church into the 21st century, but you don’t know what you’re preaching on Sunday

* A church picnic is no picnic

* You’ve ever spoken for free and were worth every penny

* It’s Sunday, but Monday’s coming!

* You wonder why the tax seminar leader didn’t open with prayer

* Instead of getting “ticked off,” you get “grieved in your spirit.”

* You’ve ever been tempted to take an offering at a family reunion

* You’d rather talk to people with every head bowed and every eye closed

* You’ve ever wanted to “lay hands” on a deacon’s neck or punch out a council member.

* You hesitate to tell people what you do for a living.

* You ever talked to a person who was sitting on a bedpan.

* You find yourself counting people at a sports event.

* You received an anonymous U-Haul gift certificate.
